Review your membership payments

Sample data: the next seven days of scheduled payments. Three memberships and a coaching package, $927 in all.

Plan the membership

A membership is more than a single transaction.

A membership is an ongoing billing relationship, so plan around the member’s journey, the renewals and the platform you use.

Sample data: a hosted payment page for a $249 monthly creator membership.

  1. The first payment.

Make it clear what the member is buying, what it costs and where the payment happens.

  2. The next renewal.

Work through recurring billing, billing intervals and how each membership continues.

  3. The platform connection.

Review how payment and community access fit together, and which steps stay separate.

Renewals

See every renewal and what comes next.

A renewal is a new payment each period. See which renewals are coming, and how each one went, in your reports.

  • What’s coming

See every upcoming and recurring payment for memberships, subscriptions and retainers in one report.

  • What happened

Review the processing date, amount, status and details of each renewal paid by card, in one view.

Sample data: three card payments in October, two memberships and a coaching package, each paid.

Join, request, review

A tool for each part of the program.

A monthly membership, a course enrollment and a coaching package can each be paid a different way, so give each its own tool.

  • Branded payment pages

Share a hosted, branded payment page by email, social media or a QR code, so new members know where to pay.

  • Email payment requests

Send a coaching client a payment request with a clear payment button, then review its email activity.

  • Member records

Search customer records, track active contacts and see payment-related details for each member.

Good questions. Clear answers.

Membership payment questions.

What happens to my existing subscriptions?

Moving recurring payments needs its own review. Platform rules, payment tokens and your existing billing setup can affect what can move and how, so plan the transition before you change your current payment workflow.

Can I use SU Payments with my existing platform?

It depends on your platform and its payment-provider rules. Tell us which website, store or community platform you sell through, and the available setup can be reviewed. A native integration should never be assumed.

How do I collect membership dues online?

Share a hosted, branded payment page by email, social media or QR code, so members know where to pay. Upcoming renewals then appear in your scheduled transactions report.

Where can I review each renewal?

Upcoming renewals appear with your scheduled transactions. Each card payment shows its processing date, amount, status and details in your card transactions view.

Does payment control access to my community?

Automatic access is not assumed. Review how payment and community access will work together, including any steps that need to remain separate.

What is recurring billing?

Recurring billing is charging a customer on a repeating schedule, such as monthly dues, a subscription or a retainer. In SU Payments, scheduled and recurring payments appear in the scheduled transactions report alongside the rest of your payment activity.
